Heh. I only asked because I was curious to know your exact process. Eh, if you did everything with the 'binary tool' (google says it's the equivalent of the pencil tool?), then yeah, it's definitely pixel art, but you just went a little crazy with the color count, lol.
A lower color count just adds to the simplicity of pixel art though.
binary tool ... that's the name of the "pencil" tool we all know I use SAI that's why ....
yeah I have been searching for some other pixel art drawings and I am starting to get some ideas on my process and stuff..... but I am not sure yet if I want to limit myself yet though for sure I should not use that many shades of one colour in the drawing if there are many objects at once....
though, thank you very much for the comment and suggestion c:
I believe you may be surprised with what one can do with small color counts. My own color ramps usually has only three colors, including the outline color. Heck, if you don't mind ponies, here's what I can do with using only three colors for hair: [link]
Also, a plus for using smaller color counts - if you don't like the colors, having to change less colors makes it easier than having to deal with a gazillion color changes while making sure they still blend with each other
